The Challenge

For the month of June, I've challenged myself to read the whole Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ.  That gives me 30 days to read 531 pages.  That equals out to be roughly 20 pages a day.
It's funny how 20 pages flies by when you're reading a novel, but it seems to take forever when you're reading the scriptures.  (Just being honest here. . .)

Since I've been reading daily, following along with BofM365 on Instagram, I decided to begin where I was, in Alma 9, and work my way back around.  (No sense in starting from the beginning again.)
Each time I read the Book of Mormon, I always change up how I study it.  This time through, I'm marking and underlining in red each time I see the name of  Jesus Christ .

I love reading the Book of Mormon.  It brings a power into my day that isn't there when I don't feast daily from it.
President Hinckley said:
“Without reservation I promise you that if each of you will observe this simple program, regardless of how many times you previously may have read the Book of Mormon, there will come into your lives and into your homes an added measure of the Spirit of the Lord, a strengthened resolution to walk in obedience to His commandments, and a stronger testimony of the living reality of the Son of God” (Liahona and Ensign,Aug. 2005, 6)
