JOY in the Journey

Each one of you is living a life filled with much to do. I plead with you not to let the important things in life pass you by, planning instead for that illusive and nonexistent future day when you'll have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey — now.— " President Thomas S. Monson, Joy in the Journey," BYU Women's Conference, May 2, 2008

Often times I am guilty of this, looking forward to the day when I can have a clean house (that actually stays clean), quickly run an errand without having to buckle and unbuckle kids in and out of carseats (not to mention the whining), even the day I can go to the bathroom without a chaperone (or two).

When I start thinking this way I have to stop, and remind myself that there's a time and season for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1).  This is my season to be a full-time mom, and I can find joy (something good and positive) in everything if I just look hard enough for it!

Today's one of those day, better dig out my magnifying glass, clean it off, and start looking.  :)
