I Looked out the Window and Other Stuff

I looked out my window and what did I see?
Our Huge Trampoline is not where it should be.
Yesterday while we were at church we must have had a huge gigantic micro-burst wind because when we got home, our trampoline, which is normally way on the other side of the house (to the right of that water spout), was not there.
Instead it was blown upside down around the corner in our backyard.
(please ignore the ugly rusted BBQ grill).  The boys quickly changed their clothes and went outside to "rescue" it, which is no easy task because what you can't see is that the tramp is actually sitting on a small cliff.  Apparently Mother Nature liked where and how she placed our trampoline because as soon as the boys got outside it started raining, hard, and then within a few minutes it started to snow.  And I mean snow!  Just look at those huge flakes coming down!  And so it sits. . .

Now for the OTHER STUFF
(I know you're just dying to know what it is because I always blog about the most interesting stuff!)
Saturday I took these two little (well one little, one not so little) cuties to get their 7th Grade and Kindergarten well-checks and immunizations.  I was able to do this same thing with #3 and #5.  I'm telling you, this is the way to go!  The older, not so scared one, can go first to show the younger, scared one, what to do.  Once the younger one watches and sees that her older brother isn't scared and crying, she's fine.  It works perfectly!
The General Women's Meeting:
I had the pleasure of attending this meeting with my mom, my gram, and my daughter ( I wish we had taken a picture.).  As I sat in this meeting, right next to my beautiful daughter who sat next to her two grandmother's, I felt the Spirit testify of the power of women and the tremendous effect we can have for good in the world and most especially in our families.  At that moment, I couldn't have been more proud.  Proud to be part of the family I am, the one I came from and the one that will come after me.  Proud to be the daughter of Patti and the granddaughter of Dorothy.  Proud and grateful to be the wife of Clinton and the mother of six.

The talks and videos were amazing and inspiring.  If you didn't get the chance, go online now and watch this meeting.  I promise, you won't be disappointed.

HAPPY MONDAY!
