Our #1 is now a workin' man.
He works from 4 pm until 10 or 11 pm.
It has been said that work builds and refines character, and brings a sense of self-worth.
I see this in my son as he comes home happy, proud, and feeling good about the hard work he has just done.
He is learning a new kind of responsibility, one that we can't teach him here at home.
He is learning that work is hard and exhausting, but, if done honestly and completely, it can also give you a good feeling, and a sense of accomplishment (especially on payday).
Freckles, when seeing his brother at work said, "Wow! You look so grown up."
Yes, yes he does. He makes his mama proud.
Fun Fact: My sister, Kimberlee's, first job was at this same chain (just one in Tennessee).
