We had a full and busy, but super fun weekend.
Yesterday, our second daughter (#5) celebrated her eighth birthday!
I don't think I've ever shared her birth story with you. It's pretty intense.
Here's the Reader's Digest version:
Basically it involves a lot of pain, special permission from the Utah Pediatric Board to induced labor early, a long, sleepless night, a lot of blood, a labor and delivery nurse who didn't know that a woman loosing a ton of blood during the middle of her labor and before her water had broken was not normal, a torn placenta, a doctor who was extremely worried and mad (at the RN not me), and a sister who was watching a live birth for the first time in her life.
Luckily the story ends well with a miraculously healthy baby girl and no blood transfusion.
This girl has been kickin' and screamin' ever since.
She is spunky and outgoing. She loves to be the center of attention. She loves the gospel and has a strong testimony of Jesus Christ. She is friendly with everyone. She has a huge heart, and adds an awesome spirit of enthusiasm and energy to our family.
We're so glad God sent her to our family.
As tradition states, she was able to choose her cake. She wanted a chocolate cherry frosted Shopkins' cake.
Your wish is my command.
Now that the party is over, she is looking forward to her baptism day.
She can't wait to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
