My three youngest have spent the last two weeks at the pool learning to swim.
None of my children have ever loved the water like some do. Swimming lessons for us aren't fun. They are traumatic and dramatic with a lot of crying.
This year I bit the bullet, so to speak, and signed up #4, #5, and #6 for swimming lessons.
It's important for everyone to know how to swim, right?
There were tears and plenty of "please don't make me go"'s. They hated it, but they went,
and they learned that they can do hard things.
Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to get them to go again next year.
